Customer Review: Works fine, but 2 major issues

This set of Panasonic cordless phones work fine. the sound quality is clear, buttons are easy to press, back-lit keys, voice caller-id, good talk time with a full charge, compact size. The two major problems I have with this series are:
1. Phone book limited to 50 entries. I fail to understand why, in today's day and age, the phonebook would be limited to only 50 entries. This is a major inconvenience.
2. The previous set that we had allowed you to transfer phonebook entries or the entire phone book from one handset to another. This was a convenient feature that saved time having to enter the phone book all over again in each handset. This particular model does NOT come with this feature! This is a very subtle issue that can be easily overlooked. I find it to be a major annoyance.

When we had renovations to the house in 2008, we purchased the Panasonic answering machine with four handsets. This way we only needed one actual phone jack; the other separate handsets and chargers simply needed an outlet to plug into. Recent remodeling resulted in the need for a fifth handset with charger (the max for this set is six). The plastic cover on the latest set is shinier than the older ones but who will notice? When I plugged in the fifth set, it automatically associated itself with the base unit and transferred my phonebook and caller-id history. I may find a reason to order the sixth one just because it was so easy. I love this whole set, especially the male voice that answers the machine. This is the first Panasonic cordless set I've owned and I would definitely buy it again.Customer Review: Stop shouting, use a cordless phone system

The two of us rattle around in an old four-bedroom house too big to hear someone shouting on the other side of the house, so one of us often has to on a expedition to find the other one. The Panasonic cordless phone system has partly solved our communication problem with its intercom function. The system permits the use of up to six strategically placed phones, plus the base station, without any new wiring. Also, we were able consequently to connect one of our existing phone outlets to a new Wi-Fi modem. The phone system was easy to set up while following the enclosed instructions. We haven't really tested the limits of the batteries by leaving one of the phones off its base unit for long enough to let them run down. I bought this as an extra handset for my panasonic KX-1211B bluetooth phone system. The sound is clear and the range is excellent I have 2 1/2 acres and I can use the phone on all of it. Easy to set up and have had no problems. I see alot of people writing about dropped calls and having to reconnect to the base. I have not had this problem. I set my base unit away from all electronics in a clear spot. When I walk in my door my cell phone is connected right away. The bluetooth has a great range! The quality and clarity of talking on the cordless using my cell phone is much better. I like the setup where the cell ringer is different than the landline. and when deleting calls from the caller id it clears them on all handsets. Phone works great - no interference, good sound quality. I like the speakerphone feature, and of course caller id and phone book.
We are using this phone as an add-on to our existing kx-tga630 3-phone system. (They're the less expensive gray models). We purchased this model in the hopes that it was compatible. Yes, it would appear to be totally compatible. Nothing online specified one way or the other, so we took a chance. Amazon, by the way, had the best price hands-down. Anyway, the reason that we bought this was for the headset connection that our existing models don't have. I will add that we also like the intercom feature.
In closing, I highly recommend this (supplemental) phone.
