Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Panasonic KX-TGA650B 5.8GHZ Expandable 2-Line Handset for use with KX-TG6500B/6502B (Black)Customer Review: A good phone Summary: 4 StarsHave had the original phone just over a year. Have liked it very much but 2 months after its one year anniversary the original receiver did not work unless you used with the headset or as a speaker phone. This is the second receiver in just over a year. So a good one but has not seemed to hold up well with moderate use.
Customer Review: Handset for Panasonic wireless base Summary: 5 StarsBest wireless phones we ever had. Best range, cleanest reception. Won't work without the base.
Customer Review: As Advertised and As Promised Summary: 5 StarsI have had the Panasonic KX-TG6502 system for several years, and recently needed to add a fourth handset. The best price I found was here on Amazon, but I was still a bit skeptical as to whether such an older model set would be available in brand-new condition. Short version: I got the new handset, in factory packaging, in less than a week. Both Amazon and the seller kept me up to date on the order status. I am completely satisfied with my purchasing experience.
Customer Review: Addon remote phone unit Summary: 5 StarsThis was an addon unit for an existing system. Have used panasonic KX-TG6502 system for a year and have experienced no problems. Reception is clear and adding a new phone number from one unit to all the rest is convenient. Minor annoyance is inability to erase old calls from all units at the same time. Entering numbers could be simpler, but not a big problem. I have had long term success with Panasonic phone products.
Customer Review: Seems to be about the best of a poor choice of 2 line phones Summary: 3 StarsI bought a base unit about 8 months ago and have 3 addl. cordless phones for it. use it for business and also in my house.
Good points;
1. Sound quality is good and speakerphone works very well.
2. I have two wireless networks and have never had an interference problem.
3. Range of the cordless units has been perfect - I use the phones all over the house and in a separate office, and never have connection problems.
4. Other available 2 line expandable cordless phone systems seem to have even more drawbacks and quirks than this one. How's that for a ringing (pun acknowledged) endorsement? Nobody seems to pay much attention to the human interface engineering anymore...
Bad points;
1. Apparently the conference calling feature is very poor. I can hear everyone fine, but my clients say that they can't hear the other party when conferenced with two lines, so that has proven to be useless. I think it might be because you really can't use this phone in a "wired" mode, only cordless.
2. When calling in to retrieve messages, the playback volume is so low that I can't hear messages unless there is absolutely no background sound. This has proven to be very annoying, and I can't figure out how to increase that volume.
3. As others have pointed out, it's silly to have to press several buttons and menus to get to memorized phone numbers, and having all the recent calls stay on the handsets even when cleared on other handsets is silly too, altho it doesn't bother me as much as it bothers some other reviewers.
