Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Panasonic DECT 6.0-Series 3-Handset Cordless Phone System with Answering System (KX-TG1033S)Customer Review: Affordable but watch out for the range and voice quality. Try KX-TG6424T instead Summary: 2 StarsI am very happy with the ordering and shipping process but very disappointed with the range and voice quality. It is sad to see Panasonic has a product like this. I live in a 1600 sq ft townhouse, the conversation keeps breaking. I install the base station in my bedroom(2nd floor) and make call from family room(first floor). The other end of the call keeps asking me to repeat myself. Even if I move to closer to the base, the improvement is marginal. I tried for a few days and gave up. I went to Costco to buy the 4 phone pack model(KX-TG6424T) and install phones at the same locations, it is a different experience completely. The phone has a better make quality and feel better. Voice quality and range are excellent. But I have to say Amazon return experience is like a breeze.
Customer Review: Great phone! Summary: 5 StarsI will try to cut corners on many things in life to save a few dollars, but I have discovered that a cordless phone is not one of those things. We have tried many brands in the past, and none have ever worked as well as Panasonic, which is now the ONLY brand of cordless phone we will ever buy. This phone did not disappoint--it works as well, if not better than expected, the sound is great, the range, battery life, features, answering mechanism all work very well. I would buy this phone again in a second and highly recommend it. In addition, the extra handsets work just as well as the main one.
Customer Review: Nice Set of Phones Summary: 5 StarsGood quality and reliable every time. I like this so much. I purchased them for my parents and they like the large numbers and the ease of use. Worth the money!
Customer Review: Great Set for Elderly Person--to use, NOT to program. Summary: 4 StarsI purchased this for my sister-in-law who only had a single home telephone and needed a couple of extra phones since she was taking care of my elderly mother-in-law. My mother-in-law (MIL) was just coming "home" for the 1st time in months from various hospital stays and needed a phone in her temporary bed-room and another to carry as she went from room to room. This set turned out to be perfect. First, my MIL, who has difficulty hearing, had no problems with volume or speech quality, and most importantly, she quickly understood how to use the phone. I did all the programming (which was NOT that easy), but she quickly grasped how to access the directory, etc. Understand this is an elderly person who has difficulty with even "simple" technologies. I gave it 4 stars from the perspective of HER using the phone. I did NOT find this phone particularly easy to program, however. One feature that I found poorly designed was programming directory entries...in order for all phones to share a common directory you need to "send" it from one phone to another. I have a similar AT&T DECT 6 phone set, and you can add an entry into any phone and it's immediately propagated to all phones. I may be nit-picking, but it took me 20 minutes to figure out why "sharing" was not working as I expected.
Customer Review: very good Summary: 4 StarsPretty good in all respects. Wonderful sound qaulity and love the larger buttons. Battery life is less than we would have expected.
